Song Of The Day: Whatever Wednesday (5/1/13)

Song: May Day

Artist: Blue Scholars

Album: N/A

SO appropriate for today. Released one year ago today and Geo also did a column/video about this same thing with The Seattle Times. (Side note: I kind of also love this song because it uses a Sabzi beat that was also used for a BFA party jam LOL.) Get it for free here.

Song Of The Day: Throwback (3/14/13)

Song: Sagaba (Remix)

Artist: Blue Scholars

Album: The Long March EP

I remember hearing this remix for the first and thinking to myself that they couldn’t make this song any better. I was wrong. ‘Sagaba Remix’ is up there on my list of favorite tracks and also reminds me why I absolutely dig the Blue Scholars. Definitely can’t wait for them to come out with new music. Purchase the EP here.

Song: Coffee & Snow

Artist: Blue Scholars

Album: N/A

It’s almost that time of year where you can kick back with a cup of coffee while it’s snowing outside. All you need is well…coffee and snow. The Scholar’s Coffee & Snow part 1 (yes, part 1) came out in 2008 after the snowstorm hit the NW and they decided to throw together a video. In the mean time, enjoy the rain before it gets too crazy. You can still download this here.
