I’ve been getting really excited about some of these younger cats in the scene lately…there hasn’t been a really dope NW emcee that I’ve really really loved since Dice. This was spun on Street Sounds tonight and after seeing her perform it live this weekend, it is probably hands down one of my favorites from her. If you don’t know who Hollis Wong-Wear AKA Wong Weezy is by now, you’re trippin’. She has been an integral part of the Town scene for awhile now and has contributed both musically and for business. She has contributed to some of my favorite music…remember Canary Sing???…and most recently The Flavr Blue, one of my most favorite new groups in the town.
